Copies Overnight, Inc. has installed a
		Docutech 6180 network
publishing system at its Carol Stream, Ill. plant.
The new generation
system one of the first installed in the
		Chicago area
runs 3 pages per second, representing a 33% increase in speed from
previous Docutech 135 models. Additional benefits include the ability to
process print files faster and more efficiently, enhanced laser imaging quality
and better inline collating and stock handling capabilities.
"The 6180
is well-suited to a large production run digital printing firm like ours," said
		president Steve Johnson. "It
gives us increased capacity to handle multiple high volume production runs and
maintain our guarantee that 250,000 impressions will be delivered the next
		business day for each customer."
The new Copies Overnight system is
linked to the firm's three other Docutechs through a digital network. Documents
are printed with laser-sharp 600 dpi resolution from artwork or computer files
received on removable media, a computer bulletin board or
		over the Internet. In-line
collating, stapling and index tab printing eliminates time-consuming secondary
		operations.
Digital printing on-demand technology offers significant
advantages over traditional reproduction. Changes are made quickly and easily
to keep documents up-to-date. Individual pages, indexes, cover letters and
other pieces can be tailored to meet specific needs.
Copies Overnight specializes in high-speed
looseleaf and bound documents printing, finishing and distribution for clients
in the general business, printing trade, technical and institutional fields.

Within the past two years, the company has received
		two Premier Print Awards
from the Printing Industries of America for excellence in the digital printing
		category.
