Copresco Co-Founder...

Chuck Legorreta Concludes Distinguished Career

Chuck Legorreta retires December 31 after a distinguished career that spans nearly two decades.
A co-founder of the company in 1987, Chuck has served Copresco in various capacities including director of manufacturing, production, finance and chairman of the board.
Chuck's most recent project has been the execution of a long-standing management transition plan to assure that his retirement is seamless for Copresco customers, suppliers and employees.

Full Ownership Assumed

Co-founder and president Steve Johnson has assumed full ownership of the company.
Steve will continue in his role as chief executive officer.

Smooth Transition Completed

"We have had a succession plan in place since our inception. Although we will miss Chuck's experience and expertise, it is to his credit that we have systems and procedures in place that ensured the smooth transition of ownership," Steve says.

Taking Us to the Top

"Chuck worked hard to make Copresco what it is today: the industry leader in digital technology and on-demand printing of books and manuals. That's an astounding fact, when you consider this market niche didn't even exist when we started the company," Steve added.

Renowned Craftsmanship

Copresco is well known throughout the graphic arts industry for a highly efficient workflow, the meticulous attention to detail and "hospital clean" working environment.
Under Chuck's leadership, Copresco has won numerous awards for digital printing excellence, while gaining national prominence for exceptionally fast turnaround and the unique ability to handle extraordinary "Mission Impossible" jobs.

Mover and Shaker

Throughout his career, Chuck has been intimately involved in the upgrading of Copresco's black & white and color digital presses and bindery equipment.
In 1999, he spearheaded the move to our state-of-the-art 14,000 sq. ft. digital printing plant.

Industry Leadership

He served on Xerox Corporation's inaugural Printers Customer Advisory Council, providing important input and feedback on industry trends, software applications and technology developments in digital printing.

R & D Assistance

Major corporations, such as Boise Cascade, Canon, Heidelberg and Xerox, frequently seek out Copresco to learn more about the company's innovative approaches to digital printing and to test their equipment and systems in the Copresco plant.

A Busy Volunteer

Active in volunteer service, he has served several terms as president of the parish council of St. Isadore's Catholic Church in Bloomingdale.
A longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, Chuck has also worked closely with the PADS homeless shelter program.

Enjoy the Sun, Chuck

Chuck plans to lead the good life in the Arizona sun.
He has earned the time off for a job well done. We wish Chuck and Elaine all the best in the years ahead.
