Coprescos
technical communications program received major national recognition with the
announcement of Apex 2001 Award winners. |

The annual Apex
competition for communications professionals is sponsored by the publication
Writing That Works. Awards are based on excellence in editorial content,
graphic design and the success of the entry in achieving overall
communications effectiveness and excellence. Judges consider the quality of
creative ideas and concepts displayed rather than the expenses involved in
producing the entries.
Heres what the judges had to
say about the website Copresco developed and maintains: A practical,
working site content over glitz. This commercial printer's site does a
superb job of, (a) keeping existing customers informed of new services and ways
to use existing ones, and (b) attracting new customers. Packed with useful
information and links for publishing professionals. A very practical, cut
to the chase Web site.
We are, of course, extremely proud to receive these awards from a distinguished panel of experts, says Copresco president Steve Johnson. But we take even greater pride in the recognition of our efforts to provide beneficial communications vehicles that inform, educate and assist our customers. We have always believed that user-friendly websites offering easy access and helpful information outweigh those sites that rely on glitz and glamour, Steve added.
Visitors
to our website at www.copresco.com will find a wealth of information about our
company and digital printing services as well as back issues of both TechTopics
and Overnight Lite.
You will also find links for valuable
aids like printer drivers and software updates as well as e-mail links to key
Copresco personnel. Our built-in FTP interface offers fast access and painless
drag-and-drop transmission of PC and Mac files.
We
will continue to improve all of our technical communications tools, not to win
awards, but to keep you on the forefront of the latest advances in digital
technology and printing on-demand, Steve concluded.
So when you need help with books and manualsor
assistance with a digital printing issuecall the company that has the
technical resources to solve your problem.
Copresco will close Monday, Sept. 3, for Labor Day. Enjoy the holiday!
In fact,
the website we created for the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association
of Northern Illinois was honored with an Apex Award of Excellence.
The Pamcani website serves as a vital communications
vehicle for Association members and referrals for members services.
Like Coprescos site, pamcani.org loads quickly and
offers valuable links and e-mail contact.
Educational
information and the referral network to put prospective customers in touch with
members is available to the general public. Several members-only
areas are password-protected for security purposes.
