As we near the holiday
season, we want to thank you for your confidence in Copresco.
In 2002, we celebrated our 15th year of digital
leadershipno small feat in these difficult economic times.
During the year, we
have told you about our recognition as the Top Digital Printer in North America
and our APEX awards of excellence for our informative publications and
fast-acting website.
Coprescos full service bindery
gained national attention in a Printing Impressions magazine feature article
discussing the wide range of binding styles available for your digital jobs.
Following are additional high-lights of Coprescos
15th year of digital printing service.
To help
customers and visitors obtain valuable information and technical resources
faster and easier, we completely revised and updated our website links area.
Links are provided for computer software, patches and fixes, virus protection
and other helpful tools.
We made giant strides in 2002 to
improve the quality and produc-tivity of our digital color work.
You now have a source for short-run digital color that
matches the world-class reputation of Coprescos black and white services.
Continuing our high-tech pursuits, we beta-tested a RIP/
controller for digital color presses. Copresco was selected for the
experimental project because of our expertise and in-depth experience in
digital technology.
Readership
of TechTopics, our technical bulletin series, and our flagship publication,
Overnight Lite, continued to grow.
Maintaining our
promise to give you solid technical information, we printed Lite articles on
the princi-ples of on-demand printing and index tab divider applications.
Our two-part series on virus protection featured
Coprescos Ten Commandments for Fighting Deadly Viruses and
website addresses for major antivirus software firms.
We
also published four new or up-dated issues of TechTopics for you.
Once
again, we thank you for another good year. You are responsible for our
continued success.
Copresco is firmly committed to the
continual advancement of digital printing technology, exceptional quality and
fast turnaround of your on-demand jobs.
Our
reminiscing has taken us from opening day, October 19, 1987, through the
development of our digital network, our first docutech purchase, the move to
our new plant and our name change to Copresco.
We
conclude our 15-year anthology, by welcoming back Virginia for a
5th anniversary in Overnight Lite.
The Sept. 21, 1887
editorial in the New York Sun answers 8-year-old Virginias question,
Is There a Santa Claus?
You will find the
classic on our website, along with opportunities to help people in need and
join a humanitarian crusade for the global eradication of polio.
We will be
closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day. Well be open
New Years Eve.
Best wishes for a joyful holiday
season from the Copresco staff.
