Copresco\   Overnighti Lite

Thanks for another great year...

To Our Valued Customers and Suppliers...

As we close another busy year, we want to thank you for your continued confidence in Copresco.
When we started this company 13 years ago, printing on-demand (POD) wasn’t even a germ of an idea. Today, digital on-demand is the fastest growing segment of the graphic arts industry and Copresco is the oldest digital printer in the business. We continue to grow as more and more firms rely on this extra-fast, cost-effective method of producing books and manuals.
We are proud of our longevity record and the national reputation we have earned as leaders in our field.

The Year 2000

The past 12 months have been gratifying. We started the year with the new Copresco name and survived Y2K without a glitch. Thanks to your large and challenging jobs, we piled up new records in sales and digital printing volume. Along the way, we picked up our share of trophies.

The Highlights

· Due to your active support, Copresco was recognized by the graphics arts trade press as: one of the busiest on-demand digital printers in the nation (Print On- Demand Business); a top digital color printer (Printing Impressions); and the number one digital printer in North America (Quick Printing).

· Our corporate website and TechTopics technical bulletin series won APEX 2000 awards of excellence for practical, effective communications.

· In response to your continual requests for technical infor-mation, we produced a popular three-part newsletter series: “Seven Habits For Highly Successful Documents” (soon to be released as TechTopics No. 13). We also kept you abreast of software bugs and updates and provided tips on an array of helpful websites.

· We shared our PIA Premier Print Award and Perfect 10 Awards with you our customers and suppliers.

· We completed the Overnight Lite readers’ tour of our 14,000 sq. ft. plant so you could see the multifaceted range of services we can perform for you.

· To make Lite easier for you to read, we changed to a three-column format and upgraded the graphics.

· Finally, we laid our computer bulletin board system to rest, in favor of an updated FTP site that offers you faster, easier print files transmission. This is another example of Copresco’s ongoing program of upgrading our digital technology and technical tools.

The Future

On the 2001 horizon, we will add an advanced color system as further proof of our commitment to high-end digital color printing. We will also make a significant invest-ment to expand our bindery and finishing services and upgrade our Macintosh computer network to demonstrate our long-standing support of the Mac platform.
Thank you again for making 2000 another great year. Copresco promises to stay on the forefront of digital technology and give you the best that on-demand printing has to offer.
We look forward to sharing another exceptional year with you in 2001. Meanwhile...best wishes for a joyful holiday season from the Copresco staff.

Yes Virginia...

We’ve decked our website with Christmas adornments, including the timeless “Yes Virginia” reprint.
On September 21, 1897, an editorial appeared in The New York Sun that has become a classic expression of Christmas sentiment.
Written by Francis Pharcellus Church, the article answers 8-year-old Virginia’s question: “Is There A Santa Claus?” It has since been reprinted hundreds of times in numerous languages.

Happy Holidays

Copresco will be closed Monday, December 25 for Christmas and Monday, January 1 on New Year’s Day.
