Copresco has been
producing quality digital color work for several years. We are now in the
process of upgrading our high-end digital color equipment and would like your
help.
We have narrowed our choices to two front-runners in
the digital press market: Indigo and Xerox. Rather than making the decision
strictly on our own, we're asking for your assistance. As professionals in the
publishing and graphic arts industries, we value your input.

"Digital color printing is still a work in progress," says Copresco president Steve Johnson. "Manufacturers are notorious for their devotion to equipment technology, rather than producing products that meet customer needs. We are looking for a supplier who is eager to work with a leading edge company like Copresco and that is committed to continual improvement of the whole digital workflow process."
Please
give us your personal opinion on the
Overnight Lite
copies you have in hand. As you can see, we have enclosed two versions of our
April issue.
Both pieces contain the basic elements of the
real-life jobs you send to Copresco: colored and black and white text;
background tints, color gradients (in the masthead); colored graphics (in the
jokes); and scanned photos. We could have printed stunning pieces with
beautifully retouched photos and award-winning graphics-like those produced by
the equipment manufacturers and paper companies. But, we wanted to show you
examples of the typical jobs you ask us to turn out every day.
Please help us by
voting for the digital press you believe renders the best color images. All you
have to do is fax back the enclosed form, or cast your ballot on our website.
You can answer our questions in detail... or just vote for the machine of your
choice.
Your vote is extremely important to us. So,
please vote early, but not often.
We just need one ballot
with your name and phone number. We may want to contact you for a brief
discussion of your ideas and the reasons for your decision.
Thank you for helping us make this far-reaching
decision. We'll report the results in the May issue of
Overnight
Lite.
