Stopping By Copresco
On A Snowy Evening
Whose books are these? I think I know.
He keeps them at Copresco though.
He will not see us bustling here
To ship his books both to and fro.
Our competition thinks it queer
To meet tough deadlines all the year;
To keep the promises we make
For customers whom we hold dear.
They give their heads a nervous shake
And recognize their sad mistake.
While in the darkness shines a light
Copresco’s staff is wide awake.
The books are lovely, clear and bright.
The bindery worked all through the night.
Your job is done before we sleep.
Copresco works so you can sleep.
With apologies to Robert Frost.
Be sure to read his original Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening.
Thanks to Shahina for writing this poem.
